Every year, many of New England 's finest young athletes travel to distant colleges and go on to accomplish great things in the sport. This race serves as a homecoming for these runners and gives us all a chance to watch them in action on a fast course.
Rub elbows with some of the finest milers in the country and
enjoy a fun family atmosphere at the finish with Friendly's
Ice Cream for All.
New this year - We have added a Father/Child division. Fathers, form a team with your child
and receive a $10 Friendly's gift certificate just for entering! There will be awards for
both Father/Son and Father/Daughter teams. Awards will be based upon combined times.

The race course drops gradually 70 feet through Maine's only urban canyon - It's tailor-made for fast times. To add excitement, there will be cash Frontrunner premiums awarded to the first man and woman to pass each ¼ mile split along the way to the finish.

This will be a fun family event as Friendly's is chipping in ice cream for everyone and there will be a variety of excellent raffle prizes after the awards ceremony.
